The Stellantis group presented to the French trade unions a workforce reorganization program characterized by a total of 2,600 redundancies. The extent of the cuts was reported by employee representatives to various French newspapers at the end of one of the meetings organized by the management as part of the negotiations for the renewal of the current collective bargaining agreement, which expires on 31 March. In particular, the manufacturer intends to cut 1,300 positions this year and the same number in 2023, but only through voluntary and incentivized exits, as already happened last year with 1,380 workers.
