AsConAuto spare parts returns to the pre-Covid era and closes 2021 with strong growth

AsConAuto has announced the results achieved in 2021, which have returned to align with those of 2019, the last year before the Covid pandemic. The balance sheet of the Association of Motor Vehicle Dealers Consortia (founded in 2001 with the aim of joining the forces of dealers to increase the sale of original spare parts and reduce distribution costs has in fact reached a turnover of just under 730 million. euro, for a growth of 17.4% compared to 2020. And this despite the forecasts were lower than 6%, confirming a market trend that was much higher than expected.

The diffusion. AsConAuto, chaired by Fabrizio Guidi (a member, moreover, of the board of directors of Federauto, the association of dealers), has 955 dealers for a total of 1,860 operating offices, while the repairers served in 2021 were 23,625. The provinces involved are 102 (out of a total of 107 in the country): the structure includes 26 consortia, none of which achieved lower results than the previous year. Ten consortia, on the other hand, had a turnover of more than 30 million euros during the year and three exceeded the threshold of 50 million: Doc Brescia-Bergamo was the most active, with 87.7 million euros, the 20.1 % more than the previous year.
